Sneak Preview at the
Palace on Centre Street On Wednesday & Thursday, January 23-24, 2008 the Amelia Island Film Festival commences its 2008 Sneak Preview Series at the Palace Saloon. La Vie en Rose will begin at 7 pm as the Film Festival's January feature presentations starring Marion Cotillard recently 2008 Golden Globe winner (for best actress in a musical) for extra-ordinary performance of the legendary Edith Piaf. This exciting newly released film by Picturehouse Entertainment has been acclaimed by many at film festival screening world-wide during 2007. Also at the Screening will be shown two Shorts of local interest about Fernandina's Shrimping Industry in the 1950s and also one of the Shrimp Festival Boat Races from the 1960s. Come Early! Tickets for $10 will be for sale at Alexander’s at Palmettto Walk on First Coast Highway, UPS Store on Sadler Road, the Chamber of Commerce at both locations at Gateway Boulevard and at the Depot Downtown plus 2 additional Downtown locations at Susi's and Last Flight Out on Centre Street.
