In 2007 the Florida House Inn celebrates 150 years of being in business and remains the oldest operating hotel in the state of Florida. Lodge with us or have your special event with us and you too can become a part of our historic year.

As always we appreciate those who support historic preservation by supporting businesses operating in historic buildings and locations such as the Florida House Inn. Without your business the preservation of historic buildings such as the Florida House would not be possible.

We now offer meeting and conferencing on site for up to 60 people and parties for up to 150 people.

If you have not stayed with us recently we now have in our pub live blues music on the weekends by nationally and internationally acclaimed blues artists, bluegrass on Monday & Tuesday, and a songwriting contest every Wednesday.

There's more than shopping and fun in the sun on Amelia Island. The Florida House Inn offers instruction in a variety of arts and crafts such as basket-making, knife-making, woodworking, music, art, and even Latin and Shag dancing. Plus with your room you receive a complimentary rental scooter to tour the island on.
